How to Request Account Deletion

You can request deletion or a data export in two ways: from inside the Aria app under Settings → Privacy, or by emailing privacy@ariacoach.app from the email address associated with your Aria account. If you email us, include the name on your account if it differs from your email address so we can verify ownership.

We will acknowledge your request within 7 business days and aim to delete or de-identify ordinary account data within 30 days after ownership verification. The limited retained categories described below follow their stated retention rules. If we need more information to verify account ownership, we will reply to the account email before deleting data.

What Data Is Deleted

• Your user profile and account credentials
• Training programs and workout history
• Health and biometric data you synced or entered (such as heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep, steps, calories, weight, body fat, VO2 max, and metabolic measurements)
• Nutrition plans and meal logs
• Chat history with your AI coach
• Your Social Profile, Community Feed posts, comments, reactions, friend/follow relationships, and feed photos
• Your human-chat membership and ordinary uploaded chat media, subject to the participant-history rules below
• Coach-sharing connections and consent records, if you connected a coach through Aria for Coaches
• Profile photos and uploaded files
• Subscription and interaction usage data

What Data May Be Retained

• Transaction records — Apple App Store and Google Play purchase records are managed by Apple/Google and cannot be deleted by Aria.
• Anonymized analytics — Aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics may be retained for service improvement.
• Participant conversation history — Messages already delivered to other participants may remain with your account identity removed so their conversation history is not corrupted.
• Community Feed moderation records — Feed report and action records may be retained as needed to investigate abuse, enforce the Terms, maintain security, and satisfy legal or audit obligations.
• Reported-content evidence — A private snapshot of reported human-chat content, its media, and up to five preceding messages is retained for 24 months from filing and longer only while the review remains open.
• Limited compliance records — Legal, security, fraud-prevention, subscription, tax/accounting, and audit records may be retained when required or permitted.

After verification, Aria aims to delete or de-identify ordinary account data within 30 days. The limited categories above follow their stated retention rules instead of that ordinary deletion timeline.
